LEAD 1105 Practical Leadership Skills 1

Number of Weeks: 8

Designed to enrich the seasoned and the newly launched leader, this course brings to life practical leadership skills for facilitating and building highly authentic, productive and creative teams.

In addition to readings and written assessments, students will use experiential and collaborative activities such as forum discussions, reflective exercises and individual and team projects to demonstrate their understanding of working with different personality types, the stages of team development, appreciative inquiry and effective facilitation skills.

Students will be graded on the following course assignments:

Hours per week: Students should plan to set aside 5–8 hours per week to complete their weekly course work. This course consists of eight units and students are expected to complete one unit per week.
